PCWB is in its fifth season with regular rehearsals at Beaumont Middle School throughout the school year on Wednesday nights from 7-9 PM.  Interested in being part of the band? Please read our FAQ and contact director Cynthia Plank to inquire about section openings and an audition.

Admission to PCWB concerts is free unless specially noted; donations always gratefully accepted. Portland Community Wind Band is a 501(c)(3) organization.

The Portland Community Wind Band is directed by Cynthia Plank, Band Director for Beaumont Middle School, who founded the group in 2005. Portland Community Wind Band is comprised of adult musicians who enjoy playing intermediate to advanced classical music. Musicians interested in joining PCWB are invited to read our FAQ and contact Cynthia Plank inquire about section openings and an audition. New members please join the PCWB Yahoo group.
